    Kosovo Recipes

    Kosovo food, like the rest of Balkan cuisine, is rich and diverse. 

    Some of the most popular dishes you should try are the Sour Stuffed Cabbage (Sarma), Burek Pie, as well as Bean Soup (Grah or Pasulj). 

    Finish it off with incredible Baklava. 

    No bake walnut pralines are a three layer easy to do dessert. A homemade version of regional Bajadera candy, these pralines are less creamy but equally filling.

    Chocolate cake rolls are deep and rich two-layer rolls that keep well in the freezer for a while, yet are fresh every time you serve them. It's so good you'll want to make two batches at once.

    No-Boil Lasagna Bechamel with Mushroom Bolognese

    Dolmas, or stuffed vegetables, is maybe the most recognizable dish from the Balkans. Ground beef is mixed with onions, garlic plus spices, and used as a filling for several veggies (zucchini, onions, tomatoes, peppers and Swiss chard), until it's all finally baked it in a tomato sauce based sauce.

    Apricot raisin walnut cookie boats: a simple cookie with a complicated name. Apricots and raisins ground in a meat grinder, combined with sugar and chocolate, then topped off with a walnut.
