    Balkan Vegetarian Recipes

    For a Peninsula that boasts itself on its meat, Balkan has a surprising number of PERFECT vegetarian dishes.

    So many, in fact, that this is our largest section! So many, it's hard to choose just a few to start you off.

    Have you had Balkan Ratatouille? Or this AH-MAZ-ING Cheese Pie? Or should we simply let you eat (Chocolate) Cake?

     

    Chocolate cake rolls are deep and rich two-layer rolls that keep well in the freezer for a while, yet are fresh every time you serve them. It's so good you'll want to make two batches at once.

    Chocolate pudding biscuit cake: three tier no bake dessert made from ingredients you already have in your kitchen (pudding, biscuit, butter, heavy cream, sugar and milk). Because, sometimes, simple really is the best.
